What You'll Do

Cage/Club Dual Rate is responsible in assisting guests with transactions and for balancing bank drawers within the Cage function of the position. Maintain accuracy and abide by cash handling procedures. They are responsible for promoting membership to our Players Club (Sun Club) and will work with the Marketing Department to understand and endorse all promotions in the Cage/Club Rep position, such as printing Sun Club Cards, answering questions, directing guests to the Marketing area, and other duties as required. 

What You'll Bring

  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of Casino.
  • Accurately counting and balancing of cashier bank. Maintain cashier drawer transaction records and prepare daily cash inventory form.
  • Redemption of video gaming tickets, gaming chips and coupons.
  • Maintain impress bank balance through buy/sell from the vault.
  • Case personal checks for currency.
  • Redeem foreign currency, computing accurate exchange rates for the various currencies received.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to advise guests of same, whenever possible.
  • Assist in maintaining cage floor security by notifying department supervisors, security and surveillance of suspicious activity.
  • Assist other Cashiers within the Cage, as needed.
  • Facilitate the flow of information, by working with the Marketing Department and attending required informational meetings.
  • Held accountable, to a very high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records, reports and Confidentiality.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of our database system to perform duties with the promotional tracking system.
  • Endorse Casino promotions with all guests and prompt new guests to sign up for the players club.
  • Assist each guest through the membership process by inputting guest data into promotional tracking system.
  • Responsible for keeping accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.
  • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of all casino programs, promotions and all elements of casino games.
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive and productive attitude at all times with guests and fellow team members.
  • Promote all marketing events, in house promotions and other announcements as needed over the microphone system as needed.
  • Assist Cage Manager and Marketing Manager with special projects as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and clear workstation.
  • Responsible for filling, dropping and maintaining ticket kiosks.
  • Responsible for stocking promotional items; such as bungee cords, club cards and other items for promotional use. 
  • Perform other tasks assigned.

Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Three (3) years of Cage Supervisory experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent money-handling background.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills. 
  • Extensive knowledge of state gaming regulations and casino operations
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to handle heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems promptly.
  • Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels

Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License.
