Job DetailsJob Location: Elemet Manufacturing Inc - Aitkin, MN 56431Salary Range: $27.00 - $33.00 HourlyThe Welder III is responsible for producing metal components by setting up and operating welding machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies. Key Responsibilities Advanced understanding of welding necessary to produce metal components Must follow all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/Tag out Ability to weld three or more different types (Mig, Tig, etc.) Set up components for welding according to specifications for given process Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws Ability to adjust welding machine Ability to select correct welding process, cell, and machine Understand and accurately report daily production quantities to meet set number of parts per hour Consistent and accurate counts of materials and products Ability to do daily maintenance on welding machine Performs necessary quality checks on product and completes daily communication Ability to setup workstation according to safety standards to perform maximum efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to established procedures.
