Application Development Architect.  The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.  Akron, OH. 

Analyze business needs and identify effective, potential technical solutions. Design and develop new processes, programs and configuration to support the business. Recommend redesign of programs that affect broad multi-user, multi-process cross platform environment. Investigate and analyze feasibility and program requirements.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field (foreign equivalent accepted). 5 years of post-grad, progressive experience as an Engineering Tower Lead, Technical Specialist, Development Lead, Software Architect, Software Engineer or related role. 5 years of experience analyzing business needs within a tire manufacturing plant and evaluating or providing IT solutions. 5 years of experience investigating and resolving issues related to development and inter-connecting interfaces. 5 years of experience as a technical leader for PLM application projects. 18 months of experience with CATIA V5, SmarTeam, JIRA and agile methodologies.
