Bakery Sales Team Lead - Full-Time

Job Description: Hourly Lead Person working in Bakery Counter Sales Section and responsible for its day-to-day operation.

This person's primary duties include: assisting the Department Manager and supervise the Bakery Counter staff including customer service, employee relations, scheduling, training and orientation, ordering, pricing, merchandising, organizing promotions and product demonstrations, suggestive selling, rotation, record keeping, inventory (Backstock Control), pricing, markdowns, housekeeping, and sanitation.  Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Availability: Must be available to be scheduled 35+hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
• Previous Work Experience: Familiarity with Bakery Merchandise Preferred But Not Required.
• Physical Demands: Lifting, Bending, Stooping, Pulling And Pushing With Repetitive Lifting To 50#; Occasional Lifting To 80#.

Other Work Considerations: Customer Relations; Able To Work With Minimal Supervision; Prioritize Tasks; Reliable and Dependable.
