Job DetailsJob Location: Roechling Automotive Akron - Akron, OH 44312Job Description: Support production FFM or Superintendent in their daily activities. Work with FFM or Superintendent for daily machine assignments for operators. Ensure operators are properly trained on machines and products they are assigned to. Verify effectiveness of training by entering in the Training Log (in coordination with training coordinators), Plan line setup when mold changes occur. Order components for jobs using SAP. Identify and train operators that break out. Monitor operators to ensure that they follow company policies for safety, quality, and behavior. Address issues as they arise and involve FFM or Superintendent when disciplinary action is necessary. Communicate daily with support groups to make all aware of any critical issues that may affect on-time deliveries to the customer. Initiate containment of suspect parts by following the DPR and blocking procedures. Disposition of parts on hold (in coordination with BU QE). Conduct audits for work areas or finished products (as needed). Participate in daily scrap review activities (as needed). Collect/gather data to support studies including backflush reports (as needed). Monitor and lead molding & assembly operations to meet safety, quality, and production requirements. Input daily and weekly production data. Maintain required documentation. Establish training needs with the department manager to improve personnel job skills. Review quality data to define root cause and corrective actions (8Ds internal and external). Assist in resolving operator concerns and unresolved issues with the Human Resources department. Implement all new projects to production from pre-series to series production, including training on all shifts.     Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of experience in leadership 1-2 years of experience in automotive 1-2 years of experience in relationship management  Material plastic competence preferred knowledge of operation processes preferred
