What You'll Do
As a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician, you'll operate your own fully equipped service truck while responding directly to customer locations.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose hydraulic hose failures on industrial and mobile equipment
- Fabricate hydraulic hose assemblies on-site
- Install hydraulic hoses and fittings
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems
- Inspect equipment and identify additional maintenance opportunities
- Complete electronic work orders accurately
- Maintain inventory on assigned service vehicle
- Deliver outstanding customer service during every call
- Participate in rotating after-hours and weekend emergency service schedule
- Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures
- Mentor and assist other technicians when needed
What We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who enjoys mechanical work and thrives working independently.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of mechanical experience
- Experience working on:
- Heavy equipment
- Construction equipment
- Diesel trucks
- Agricultural equipment
- Industrial machinery
- Fleet maintenance
- Automotive repair
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable and self-motivated
Preferred Experience
- Hydraulic systems
- Hose fabrication
- Mobile service
- Welding or fabrication
- CDL (not required)
- DOT vehicle experience
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Preventative maintenance
