*This position is a Part Time position, located on-site at Famous headquarters in Fairlawn, OH. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to this location for the role.
鈥燭his position is reconciling vendor invoices/credits to received purchase orders, with a high level of interaction with the purchasing department and branch operations (receiving department).
Primary Job Responsibilities
路 Maintain consistent Vendor communication and contact
路 Review statements
路 Scan and index invoices
路 Verify proper approval on invoices
路 Research and resolve accounts payable issues with internal departments and vendors
路 Process high volume of payables (500-1000 accounts payable transactions per week)
路 Checks and approves all vouchers for payment
路 Also prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary
路 Assists in monthly closings
路 Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary
路 Additional duties as needed
Required Experience and Skills
路 Associate鈥檚 degree or equivalent experience preferred in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
路 1-3 years of accounting experience
路 Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
路 Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management
路 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
路 Good planning and organizational skills
路 High attention to detail
路 Intermediate level in Microsoft Word and Excel is required
