Quality Auditor 

Job Summary

Quality Assurance Auditor - Performs a variety of quality control tests on products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.

Job Duties

  • Perform inspections of finished or in-process goods to ensure work instructions are met
  • Use of required gaging instruments and the application of such instruments
  • Complete first piece inspection if needed (i.e., checks that items produced pass quality control requirements)
  • Record statistical data
  • Analyze data and write summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards
  • Operates forklift equipment for receiving incoming material
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

  • Perform work under general supervision
  • Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
  • Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter
  • Typically require a high school diploma or equivalent and 0 to 2 years of experience
