Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing various warehouse activities including but not limited to: picking product for shipment, stacking product, moving product within the warehouse and receiving materials into inventory to help meet departmental goals.  This position will require the lifing of heavy materials in our Alabaster warehouse.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

•    Utilize and follow all appropriate OSHA health and safety regulations and company policies.
•    Assure inventory and warehouse is maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
•    Operate a variety of equipment and properly inspect equipment before use.
•    Add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately.
•    Meet daily/weekly/monthly schedules and timelines for fulfilling orders or inventory cycle counts.
•    Provide assistance to team members in the completion of daily warehouse activities.
•    Must be able to pass a motor vechicle record report, criminal background and pre-employment drug screening
•    Other duties as assigned or as necessary in the completion of daily task.

Job Requirements

•    High School diploma or equivalent
•    Comfortable using equipment that is at least 15-20 feet off the ground.
•    The ability to manually handle up to 50 pounds.
•    Proficient in operating warehouse equipment, preferred
•    Some experience with inventory control and working in a warehouse enviroment
•    Some data entry and computer skills, preferred.
•    Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills

Essential Job Function

•    The ability to perform work while standing, sitting and/or walking.
•    The ability to communicate effectively.
•    The ability to work around moving machinery as well as exposure to marked changes in temperature, humidity.
•    The willingness to use appropriate personal protection equipment.
•    Be dependable, reliable, and have the ability to receive and follow instructions.
