At Jones Edmunds, we help communities thrive through innovative engineering and consulting solutions. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team, focusing on municipal roadway, stormwater, and site development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design roadway, stormwater, and site development projects from concept through completion.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, technical reports, and project documents consistent with project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Identify and solve engineering problems, proposing creative and practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work and meet client expectations.
  • Review and provide feedback on the work of Engineer Interns and peers to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Support quality control processes and uphold Jones Edmunds’ standards for technical excellence.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Engage in continuing professional development and stay current on design standards and emerging technologies.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Education: BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Registration: Florida Professional Engineer (PE) required.
  • Experience: 4+ years of progressive consulting or related professional experience (MS may substitute for 1 year; PhD for 2 years).
  • Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Other: Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
