RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures the company maintains a system of accounts and keep books and records on all company transactions and assets to ensure accuracy of accounting and control of the global business processes
  • Develops and implements accounting policies, coordinate systems, and procedures
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting and statements in accordance with management and US GAAP lender requirements
  • Oversees quality control of financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Researches technical accounting issues for compliance and policy-setting
  • Manages treasury operations and cash controls with a high level of accuracy
  • Monitors debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
  • Manages insurance coverage, risk assessments, and mitigation
  • Compares performance against operating plans; reports and interprets results to all levels of management
  • Complies with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and worldwide tax filings
  • Provides other managers and departments with the information required by them to carry out their assigned responsibilities
  • Serves as a liaison between the company and independent public accountants and the extent and scope of their audit work. Coordinates provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit and other work
  • Prepares operating data and special reports for leadership and board members

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in accounting, finance, and audits at multinational companies
  • 7+ years of experience leading accountants and accounting processes

Working Environment

Onsite: Office environment with assigned workstation

Hybrid: Home office environment with minimum distractions
