The Distribution Supervisor plays a key role in leading the day-to-day operations of our Alameda Roasting Plant distribution, ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped safely, accurately, and on time. This position oversees warehouse associates, coordinates daily workflows, and drives operational excellence across receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. The  Distribution Supervisor is responsible for achieving productivity and service goals while fostering a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.

What You Will Do:

  • Own all Safety, Quality, Production, Cost, Service and Cost Metrics for your area
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing warehouse team to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and service goals.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and hold team members accountable for performance and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the warehouse floor, supporting daily operations and removing barriers that impact team success.
  • Foster a positive, engaged, and inclusive work environment by recognizing performance, resolving conflicts, and developing future leaders.
  • Analyze operational data and key performance metrics to identify trends, solve problems, and drive process improvements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety and quality standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, improve inventory accuracy, and meet customer service expectations.
  • Develop team capability through training, coaching, and succession planning to build a skilled and self-sufficient workforce.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by driving operational excellence and delivering measurable business results.


Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong professionalism, including reliability, punctuality, integrity, attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and consistently uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or supply chain environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams.
  • Experience providing coaching, managing performance, resolving conflicts, and holding team members accountable.
  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and embracing change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency with email, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or other operational reporting tools is a plus.

The target annual base salary range for this position is $93,000-112,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education, certifications or licenses, other legitimate non-discriminatory business factors, and the geographic location of the role. In addition to base pay, individuals in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
