POSITION SUMMARY: This is a combined position for COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER & MOBILE CRISIS RESPONDER.

 COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER – Under supervision, this position provides Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) for adults with significant behavioral health disorders and their families AND for children or adolescents experiencing Serious Emotional/Neurobiological/Behavioral Disorders and their families, to improve quality of life and maintain the highest possible ability to function independently within the community. 

MOBILE CRISIS RESPONDER - This is a non-licensed para-professional position that provides mobile behavioral health crisis support within the area of responsibility of the Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT). Responder is assigned an on-call schedule when they must be available 24/7. The mobile crisis responder provides immediate, on-site behavioral health crisis intervention and stabilization services for individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and emotional distress crises in the community. This role involves responding to emergency calls, de-escalating crisis situations, assessing needs and providing referrals to appropriate services. The responder works in collaboration with licensed therapists, other MCRT team members, first responders and other community service providers to ensure individuals receive the necessary care and support. Employee must reside in the county where Mobile Crisis Response Team services are provided.
