What You'll Have:
- High School graduate or GED
- One year experience in an office setting
- Strong customer service skills, with ability to answer and direct incoming calls in a timely manner with a positive.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for accurate call routing while maintaining friendly customer service
- Return any/all abandoned phone calls due to missed calls or hang-ups
- Verification that all patient and insurance information is entered accurately
- Coordination with referring physician offices, employers, and/or law enforcement as it pertains to registration requirements
- Assist with team projects as identified and assigned.
- Complete confirmation calls and transmit standard instructions to patients (visitor restrictions, check-in process, items to bring, etc.)
- Responsible to complete all Medicare Secondary Payer verification questionnaire for Medicare patients
