Responsibilities

- Communicate company, department, and job specific information to associatesÂ

- Display a positive attitudeÂ
- Gain and maintain knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment required for maintaining store sanitation and food safety standardsÂ
- Monitor and control supply expenses for the Clean Team and overall store sanitation needsÂ
- Maintain an awareness of inventory and orderliness conditions in Cleaning Center; note any discrepancies in inventoryÂ
- Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repairÂ
- Resolve customer inquiries in a timely, effective and professional mannerÂ
- Manage the scheduling of Clean Team associates to provide adequate department coverageÂ
- Understand the store's layout and have the ability to locate products and conduct price checks for cashiersÂ
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelinesÂ
- Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify store managementÂ
- Notify management of customer or employee accidentsÂ
- Report all safety and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraudÂ
- Collaborate with team members to encourage teamwork and align the goals of the organizationÂ
- Ensure that the Clean Team associates are current and compliant with company training standardsÂ
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reportsÂ
- Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelinesÂ
