The St. Peter’s ALS Center is seeking an experienced RN Manager to lead our dedicated multidisciplinary team. Our Center provides compassionate, comprehensive care to an average of 90 individuals living with ALS and their families across a 90‑mile radius. This role offers the chance to make a profound impact in the lives of patients and caregivers while guiding the growth and excellence of a one‑of‑a‑kind program.

What You Will Do

As the RN Manager, you will bring passion, energy, and leadership to oversee a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

  • Leading staffing, clinical operations, and quality programming
  • Overseeing budgeting, financial management, and program development
  • Building and sustaining community partnerships
  • Leading and participating in fundraising initiatives-Because many of these services are not reimbursed by insurance, strategic partnership with our Center for Philanthropy and fundraising efforts are essential components of this role.
  • Serving as a program spokesperson through public speaking engagements
  • Supporting patient care and clinical needs as required
  • Partnering with the ALS Center nursing team on intake, admissions, case management, community education, and Magnet certification initiatives

What You Bring

  • Current New York State RN License
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • RN management or supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated experience in program development, fundraising, and budget management
  • A supportive, team-based leadership style
  • Passion for caring for people living with ALS
  • Ability to multitask and manage a wide range of responsibilities in a dynamic environment

About the ALS Center.

Our Center offers a wide range of integrated services and supports, including:

  • Individual assessment and treatment programming
  • Nursing case management
  • Albany‑based multidisciplinary clinic visits
  • Home visits by team members
  • Individual and family counseling
  • Medical and communication equipment on loan
  • Volunteer support
  • Patient and caregiver support groups
  • Community education and outreach

The ALS Center’s multidisciplinary team includes a part-time physician/Medical Director, 3 RN Case Managers, Volunteer Coordinator/Fundraising Specialist, Social Workers and Physical/Occupational and Respiratory Therapists.

ALS Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–5:00 PM (No weekends or holidays)

Pay Range: $87,360–$115,356
Pay is based on experience, education, and skills. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) are paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. Pay may vary within the range based on location.
