Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying needs, and developing solutions to drive our strategic goals forward. Your key duties will include:
 

  • Gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Translating business needs into detailed specifications for our development and data science teams.
  • Conducting in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to user behaviour and health outcomes.
  • Creating process models, wireframes, and diagrams to provide direction to developers and project teams.
  • Facilitating meetings and workshops to elicit and validate requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure a shared understanding of project goals.
  • Supporting the testing and implementation of new systems and features, ensuring they meet the required standards and business objectives.
  • Evaluating business processes and identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The following qualifications are essential:
 

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with an ability to interpret complex business needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with business process modelling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies would be a significant advantage.
  • An interest in healthcare, wellness, or behavioural science is highly desirable.
