Forklift / Yard Operator Needed – Albany, MO!
Universal Logistics is seeking a reliable Forklift/Switcher Operator to join our team at our Albany, MO facility. This role is essential in supporting yard operations and ensuring efficient movement of materials.

Albany, MO 64402
Shift & Pay:
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- 20$ an hour
- 1st shift: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM
- Overtime available
- Training conducted on 1st shift
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and yard equipment safely and efficiently
- Transport, unload, and properly store materials in the yard
- Inspect and secure product prior to movement
- Assist with inventory management and order placement
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and protocols
Requirements:
- Experience operating forklifts (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to operate or learn yard switcher equipment with flatbed trailers
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with RF scanners/order picking is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
