Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
路 Answer all incoming phone calls in the Albany office.
路 Assist all patients, offices, doctors, companies, etc. calling.
路 Register demos, insurance, etc. for all new patients for all TCFR office locations.
路 Schedule new patients for all TCFR locations.
路 Schedule all appointments (follow-ups, DEXAS, e-news, 2nd opinions, etc.) for every provider in the Albany office.
路 Reschedule/cancel any Albany appointments that are necessary.
路 Check voicemails.
路 Create and send phone notes for all Albany phone calls.
路 Call for records to other offices and hospitals.
路 Fax and mail records.
路 Call patients to advise them of any messages per the provider鈥檚 request.
路 Transfer calls to the proper party.
路 Page/call upstairs for all physician-to-physician calls.
路 Answer calls from outside offices for new patient referrals and records.
路 Scan and index multiple documents daily (records, new patient packets, consult forms, etc.)
路 Mail out all new patient packets and letters.
路 Call for medical records for all new patients.
路 Hospital consultation calls/spreadsheet.
路 After calling new patients referred to TCFR, keep track of all the new patients that were unable to get ahold of.
路 Bump lists: Reschedule any appointments after the Manager of Patient Care & Coordination blocks the schedules for doctor鈥檚 vacations, sick days, etc. Send out letters/cards to any patients that have not called us back about rescheduling their appointment.
路 Perform other duties as assigned.

- To perform this job successfully, an 聽聽聽聽聽individual should have knowledge of Medical Practice Software, Windows, 聽聽聽聽聽and Microsoft Office.
Required Education and Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 聽one year of experience working in medical office: scheduling, check-in/out/reception.聽
