The Patient Scheduler must maintain accurate records of patient information and appointment details while adhering to privacy regulations and organizational policies. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in scheduling or administrative roles, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and scheduling software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in healthcare administration or related field.
  • Experience working in a medical office or clinical environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare insurance processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office productivity tools.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments across multiple healthcare providers and departments.
  • Communicate with patients to confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments while providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain and update patient records and appointment information in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Assist patients with inquiries related to appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and referral requirements.
