Lactation Specialist: ONSITE in UNITS
Position Summary:
Education Requirements:
Associates Degree required in a Health related field; Bachelors degree in a Health related field preferred. CLC (certified lactation counselor certification) OR certified breastfeeding counselor (CBC) certification is required. International Board of Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) is expected to be obtained within two years of employment by full time lactation specialists. Â
Experience Requirements: Two or more years of experience in clinical or community service setting, one of which must have been in the area of maternal-child care. Previous lactation counseling/consulting experience highly desirable.
Pay ranges: $30.00 to $45.03 per hour. Pay is adjusted based on education and experience.
