Location:Â Albert Lea, MN (on-site position only)
Reports To: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor
Status: Non-Exempt
Wage:Â $20.40
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 3:00 PM year-round, with a varying end time. Occasionally changes to work schedule may occur due to production or training needs.

About the Role
The Dishwasher Operator 1 will be responsible for operating the dishwashing equipment and ensuring the cleanliness of all items washed.Â
What You'll Do
- Learn and follow all MGK HACCP, SQF, SOP, and SSOP programs.
- Comply with all Food Safety procedures at all times.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow standard operating procedures to safely handle corrosive chemicals, extremely hot water, and sharp tools, using proper care and precautions.
- Learn and follow proper mixing procedures and safe handling of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
- Follow special washing procedures for designated equipment or items.
- Report any damaged items or equipment to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Collect and transport items to the dishwashing area for cleaning and sanitizing according to standard operating procedures.
- Return all sanitized items to their designated locations and ensure all parts and pieces are accounted for.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend documentation in English including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Â
- Utilize calculators to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Â
- Ability to obtain forklift and/or pallet jack license.
- Ability to lift and/or carry occasionally up to 40 pounds.
Who You'll Work With
You'll be part of a collaborative operations team focused on producing safe, high-quality products. You'll report to the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor and work closely with Team Leaders and cross-functional departments to keep production running efficiently.

This role requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (occasionally lifting of up to 40 pounds). Employees must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while working in production areas.
Work Environment
This position is based in a food manufacturing facility where employees may be exposed to wet or humid conditions, moving machinery, cleaning chemicals, airborne particles, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels. PPE is required in all production areas.
