Activities Director

Lead the Activities team at Thorne Crest Senior Living Community in Albert Lea, MN. $52,000 to $65,000 a year, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekends and holidays for special events.

What you'll do
- Plan and lead social, recreational, and wellness programs for residents across independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing
- Supervise and support Activities staff and volunteers
- Coordinate events, outings, and community-wide celebrations for residents and families
- Partner with nursing, dining, and other departments to build meaningful shared experiences
- Maintain activity calendars and documentation that meet state and federal program requirements
- Help prepare the Activities program for state surveys

What you'll need

Required:
- At least 21 years old (needs a documented business reason before this posts)
- 2 years of activities experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting within the last 5 years, including at least 1 year full-time in resident activities
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Able to work occasional weekends and holidays as outings and events require
