About the Role

Housekeeping will be responsible for learning and perform various jobs to maintain appearance and cleanliness throughout the offices, and breakroom including restrooms. Some tasks will be on an as-needed basis as directed by Operations.

What You'll Do

Know and follow SQF and HACCP programs.
Know and follow all Food and Safety procedures.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and SSOPs.
Wear all required personal protective equipment. For more information see policy.
Cleaning both the office and the breakroom. This includes but not limited to…
Washing
Dusting
Mopping
Vacuuming
Emptying garbage
Stocking supplies
Follow housekeeping schedule/checklist.
Cleaning out lockers as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to properly use chemicals in cleaning and sanitizing.
Must be able to read and speak English.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Good time management skills and able to work independently.
Self-Starter
Ability to complete tasks with minimal amount of supervision.
Team player attitude and willingness to fill in as needed.
Have positive communication with others and timely reporting of concerns or questions.

Who You'll Work With

You'll be part of a collaborative operations team focused on producing safe, high-quality products. You'll report to the Night Superintendent.

This role requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (occasionally lifting of up to 50 pounds). Employees must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while working in production areas.

Work Environment

This position is based in a food manufacturing facility where employees may be exposed to wet or humid conditions, moving machinery, cleaning chemicals, airborne particles, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels. PPE is required in all production areas.
