SUMMARY
The Plant Forklift Runner will perform assigned tasks related to Plant activity and facilitate all aspects of Production activity as they arise. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK, READ & WRITE ENGLISH PROFICIENTLY
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Start time 5:15 a.m. with end time depending on production schedule for the day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Follow all Food Safety Procedures.
- Follow all policies according to HACCP and SQF.
- Monitor organization of coolers and freezers.
- Assist in transporting packed product to coolers.
- Coordinate assignments with Production Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean facility.
- Assist Dry Goods/Receiving.
- Retrieve & deliver ingredients, boxes, containers, etc. to lines as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

- Moderate lifting required.
- Must have or able to obtain Forklift operators permit.
- Safety conscious.
- Must have accuracy, good recording skills and a sense for detail.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. No prior experience or training is necessary, although it is preferred.

Required to wear PPE when in production areas to ensure safe food and adhering to safety practices.
