Schedule: Monday–Fridays; Start time is 4:30 PM year-round, with a varying end time. Occasionally changes to work schedule may occur due to production or training needs.

 

SUMMARY

General Production Part Time will be responsible to learn and perform various tasks and rotate to different positions as needed. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Learn and follow all MGK HACCP, SQF, SOP, and SSOP program
  • Comply with all Food Safety procedures at all times
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Learn and perform various tasks and rotate to different positions as needed in the following areas:
    • Cabbage Line
    • Veggies
    • Potato Room
    • Dishes
    • Other areas in the plant as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend documentation in English including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. 
  • Team player attitude and willingness to fill in as needed.
  • Positive communication with others and timely reporting of concerns and questions.
  • Utilize calculators to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
  • Ability to obtain forklift and/or pallet jack license.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry occasionally up to 40 pounds.
