Administrative Assistant
  • Coordinate meetings, travel, expense processing and other related tasks

  • Coordinate and order lunch for all meetings as needed, including Kaizen events, Lean Leadership training, customer visits/tours, and any plant-wide employee activities

  • Compile daily Production and Foundry reports

  • Order all office supplies and various Maintenance Dept. items

  • Coordinate all requests and payments for donations

  • Register and process employees’ training and certifications

  • Greet visitors/customers/tour groups and assist the Materials Dept. in hosting them

  • Maintain all Conference room schedules and keep them stocked for use

  • Manage and schedule (3) Company pool vehicles

  • Handle customer relations activities and community interaction as needed

  • Fulfill information requests and other inquiries from field personnel and customers

  • Manage work in a confidential manner, ensuring information is shared with internal and external individuals in an appropriate manner; provide guidance to peers as necessary regarding proprietary information.

  • Update and maintain all Process Control plans as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years administrative assistant type duties preferred

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Experience with Concur is highly desired

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers

  • Ability to prioritize many different tasks at once

  • Ability to adapt to changes and requests from multiple requestors

  • Attention to Detail

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Self-driven and able to function with little supervision

  • Strong communicator, both orally and written

  • Excellent customer service skills, both internal and external

  • Willingness and ability to interact with all levels in the plant, with portion of time spent on shop floor

  • Must always be professional and confidential

  • Independent thinker and adaptable

Additional Details: 

  • Primary work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  Overtime may be required on an intermittent basis.  This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay.
