Schedule:

This is a full-time position. We will work with you to determine a schedule that meets your needs and the needs of your clients! We treat clients Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 6 PM.

Occupational Therapist Emotional Regulation Specialist Position Summary: 

As an Occupational Therapist Emotional Regulation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating children with emotional regulation difficulties, collaborating with families and caregivers, and providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy interventions. We are looking for a passionate, life-long learner who is excited by the opportunity to be trained in this area of specialty if you have minimal to no prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate emotional regulation difficulties in children.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s unique needs and goals.
  • Provide hands-on therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensurea holistic approachto therapy.
  • Maintainaccuratedocumentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of pediatric emotional regulation therapy through continuing education and professional development.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a full-time base salary of $63,000 - $72,000/annually based on licensure and experience, with additional monthly & annual performance bonuses. We also offer a competitive benefits package including:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree inOccupationalTherapyfrom an accredited program
  • Minnesota Department of HealthOccupational Therapy License(or in process of applying for state license)
  • Passionate about helping children shine
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to workbothautonomously with confidence and in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

This role involves working with children of all ages and may require light work including but not limited to movement of treatment equipment, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching.
