This position is responsible for providing high quality customer service during all events, to achieve customer satisfaction and accurate accounting of all transactions, including inventory. Essential duties include setting up and servicing individual beverage locations, properly handling cash, enforcing all liquor laws, verifying and accounting for all liquor inventory, maintaining proper sanitation of work area, following proper safety practices, providing pleasant and efficient service to customers, reporting to F&B Personnel in appropriate uniform, preparing all beverage items for sale, selling to customers charging amount indicated on ASM GLOBAL price list, receiving and handling cash and/or tickets, accurately verifying all cash and liquor inventory with supervisor, verifying cash register is programmed properly according to ASM GLOBAL approved sales prices, following bar procedures, following all rules and regulations applicable to beverage operations and ASM GLOBAL Food and Beverage Division, requesting identification for every guest purchasing alcohol, and performing other related duties as assigned by Food Service Manager. Qualifications include being at least 21 years of age, holding a current New Mexico Alcohol Server’s Permit, ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays, basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures, sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money, basic working knowledge of bar operation, ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work, pleasant personality and neat appearance. Skills and abilities required include ability to take directions, sufficient math ability, basic cash register knowledge, English proficiency, ability to stand and walk for duration of shift, ability to carry and lift up to 25 lbs, positive customer service attitude, strong knowledge of sanitary practices, proper grooming and dress code standards, strong work ethic, ability to work in a team environment, ability to complete multiple tasks, and attention to detail.
