Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer to support our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position will produce 2D and 3D drawings/models using Revit and AutoCAD.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide preliminary design documents, such as conceptual designs, technical specifications and site plans for infrastructure and industrial projects.
- High degree of intrapersonal and communication skills is necessary.
- Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent work ethic and a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles.
- Process piping design, equipment selection, material lists, contract documents, and drawing review for industrial projects.
- Modify 2D and 3D models and other drawings.
Required Experience:
- 4 years or more of experience is preferred.
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Drafter/Design preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work on multiple assignments at the same time.
- Experience with Revit, Microstation and AutoCAD highly preferred but not required.
