CDL/Class A Driver Needed – Paid Weekly, Hours, OT, Bonus & Safe

Help make a difference! Lakin Tire a Liberty Tire Company is North America's largest tire recycler. Lakin Tire is now hiring a Full-Time CDL Class A driver to run daily collection routes. We collect and recycle more than 190 million tires into raw materials for smart, useful products that improve people’s lives.

Job Description:

Lakin Tire is seeking a qualified Class A CDL driver who will work with a route helper to oversee the daily collection of waste tires from our multiple customer locations. Our drivers are safe and offer world-class service. Included in this position will be the responsibility to complete all DOT required paperwork and company paperwork at each collection site.

Hourly Pay:

• Starting at $26.75 / hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday, and Holiday work.
• Shifts range from 8-12 hours a day.
• 40 hours per week, overtime is required.
• Start times vary between 3-6 am daily

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• This position will require the loading of tires (40lbs-75lbs) into trailers with the help of an assistant.
• Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Upholding a high standard of customer service.
• Transporting tires to and from customer locations.
• Ensuring load is correctly placed and is secure.
• Delivering materials to our recycling facilities or yards.
• Maintain documents per DOT guidelines, ELD compliant.

Education/Skills/Experience

• Must meet all FMCSA driver qualification requirements.
  
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
• CDL Drivers must be at a minimum of 22 years of age.
• Must have at minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience.
• Drivers must have a valid Class A Driver’s License.
• Clean DMV record (less than 3 points, no moving violations or accidents in the past 5 years, no DUI/DWIs in the past 5 years).
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must have a common working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Doubles endorsements are a plus.
• If requested must be flexible with work schedule.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
