DC Shipping Specialist

Rio Grande is seeking a Shipping Specialist for our Distribution Center. You’ll be packing and shipping products to fulfill customer orders.

What You'll Do:

Safely, accurately, and efficiently pack and ship customer orders
Pack and ship orders that are small, large and have hazardous materials
Ensure orders are processed in accordance with our customer service standards
Problem-solve and research inventory and order discrepancies
Utilize RF equipment and PC daily to get the job done
Interact with teammates to recommend process improvements that will benefit our customers and our business
Resource and learn other process areas as needed

What You'll Need:

1 year of warehouse or shipping experience preferred
Self-motivation and superior attention to detail
Excellent research, problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
Basic computer skills
Ability to master operation of forklifts, pallet jacks

Schedule/Physical Requirements:

Ability to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, M-F
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and sit/stand for long periods of time
