Rio Grande is seeking a Shipping Specialist for our Distribution Center. You’ll be packing and shipping products to fulfill customer orders.
Â
What You'll Do:
- Safely, accurately, and efficiently pack and ship customer orders
- Pack and ship orders that are small, large and have hazardous materials
- Ensure orders are processed in accordance with our customer service standards
- Problem-solve and research inventory and order discrepancies
- Utilize RF equipment and PC daily to get the job done
- Interact with teammates to recommend process improvements that will benefit our customers and our business
- Resource and learn other process areas as needed

What You'll Need:
- 1 year of warehouse or shipping experience preferred
- Self-motivation and superior attention to detail
- Excellent research, problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to master operation of forklifts, pallet jacksÂ

Schedule/Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, M-F
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and sit/stand for long periods of time
