What You'll Be Working On

Our fleet includes a wide variety of equipment, including:

  • Bucket trucks and aerial devices
  • Digger derricks
  • Directional Drills
  • Pickup trucks and service trucks
  • Heavy equipment
  • Equipment and utility trailers
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Diesel engines
  • Construction and utility support equipment

No two days are the same.

What You'll Do

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you'll be responsible for keeping our fleet operating safely and reliably by:

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues
  • Completing preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Troubleshooting equipment in both shop and field environments
  • Performing quality repairs that minimize repeat failures and downtime
  • Using diagnostic software, service manuals, and manufacturer information
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and work orders
  • Working closely with operations to keep equipment available for crews
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

We're looking for mechanics who enjoy troubleshooting and take pride in fixing equipment right the first time.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • 4+ years of experience maintaining heavy equipment, commercial trucks, or construction equipment
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills
  • Experience working on mixed fleets
  • Journeyman certification or equivalent trade qualification (preferred)
  • Experience with bucket trucks, digger derricks, utility equipment, or aerial devices is an asset
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
