About the Role:
Second Concept Coatings Inc is looking for a driven and experienced Lead to join our growing team in Albuquerque, NM! This is an exciting opportunity to take charge on job sites, guide a skilled crew, and deliver top-quality coating and finishing work that our customers trust and rely on.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise crew members on residential and commercial coating projects
- Oversee surface preparation, application, and finishing of coatings to ensure quality standards
- Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks, and keep projects on schedule
- Communicate with project managers and clients regarding job progress and any issues
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials
- Enforce safety protocols and jobsite compliance at all times
- Inspect completed work for quality control before project sign-off
Requirements:
- Previous experience in coatings, painting, or a related trade is required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience on a job site preferred
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating application methods
- Ability to read and follow project specifications and work orders
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a team effectively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
