What you’ll be doing:
You will provide residents with advanced support in community technologies including but not limited
to; emergency call systems, security systems, telecommunication systems, computer endpoints, TV, A/V,
Wi-Fi and Internet connectivity. You will also assist the PRS IT Department with remote troubleshooting
and setup of computer and networking hardware as needed.

How you'll do it:Â

- Champion PRS culture by ingraining the Mission, Vision, and Core Values into all aspects of your role and delivering an inviting resident experience happening for residents.
- Approach all encounters with residents, guests, and co‑workers in a gracious, attentive, and courteous manner while actively participating in training and developing new technology skills.
- Support and contribute to technology training programs, including cross‑training team members and providing computer and peripheral equipment support to residents.
- Coordinate with facility services, renovations, capital projects, and PRS IT on IT Matrix review, life cycle replacement, data and fiber support, and scheduled maintenance of phone systems and equipment.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and operations by demonstrating electrical safety awareness, supporting maintenance priorities, remaining knowledgeable of emergency procedures, and performing other duties as assigned.
About you:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT and technical support or a related field.
- Mitel certification or pursuit of the certification once beginning employment.
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred or pursuit of the certification once beginning employment.
- Knowledge of cyber-security and compliance and IT asset management.
- Previous experience in low voltage systems, internet connection systems and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Computerized
- Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and knowledge of internal computer components, networking equipment identification, and computing environment concepts.
