SAIC is seeking a talented and drivenĀ Facilities/IT ManagerĀ to join our team for the HOPE 2.0 contract in Albuquerque, NM. The Facilities Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and security of the project within the facility while also supporting internal systems management and resource planning. This dual role requires a dynamic individual with experience in facilities management and resource/space allocation as well as technical proficiency in system administration, particularly the ability to oversee and manage IT systems and platforms.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and leadership skills, technical expertise with facility and system-related processes, and the ability to adapt to evolving operational needs.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure facility functionality, safety, and compliance.Ā
Develop and oversee budgets for utilities, maintenance, and capital improvements.Ā
Coordinate contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure effective and cost-efficient services.Ā
Conduct inspections, address safety hazards, and implement preventive maintenance programs.Ā
Respond to emergencies and oversee resolution efforts for facility-related issues.Ā
Manage facility software and hardware systems, including building and security management platforms.Ā
Perform system maintenance such as updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring reliability.Ā
Collaborate with IT to integrate facility systems with enterprise platforms.Ā
Implement strategies to optimize space and improve workspace efficiency.Ā
Manage resource allocation for facility projects, ensuring appropriate use of tools, equipment, and staff.Ā
Establish standardized processes for tracking and reporting resource usage.Ā
Analyze data to identify resource needs and provide recommendations for optimization.
