Get to Know Your Team:

  • Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • May provide clerical support for the assigned department, including but not limited to scheduling appointments, record keeping and answering phones.
  • Performs quality control and maintains equipment, and reports areas of concern to the appropriate manager.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Maintains credentials and/or licensures.
  • Participates and attends departmental meetings.
  • Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
  • Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups, demonstrating our commitment to ā€œserviceā€.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • One (1) year clinical internship
  • ARRT(N), or NMTCB, or ASCP(N)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Two (2) years of related experience.
