Are you an energetic, detail-oriented dental professional who loves creating confident smiles? Our growing orthodontic practice is looking for a skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Assistant to join our team!

 

About the Role

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will work closely with our orthodontist and clinical team to provide high-quality patient care in a positive, fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
  • Take digital impressions, X-rays, and photographs
  • Place and remove archwires, brackets, and orthodontic appliances (as permitted by state regulations)
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Ensure a welcoming and supportive experience for patients of all ages

Qualifications

  • Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
  • X-ray certification (as required by the state)
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
