Join EANM as a fulltime, Patient Accounting Specialist, responsible for supporting our revenue cycle and patient billing operations while also assisting with contact lens and other order processing. What You'll Do:

  • Respond to and resolve patient billing inquiries via phone, portal, or mail with professionalism and accuracy
  • Process adjustments, corrections, refunds, and manage outstanding patient balances
  • Handle accounts receivable, including payment posting, denials, and insurance follow-up
  • Communicate with insurance carriers to ensure timely and accurate claim reimbursement
  • Ensure compliance with billing regulations, coding standards, and internal documentation procedures
  • Manage contact lens orders, including prescription verification, vendor coordination, billing, and inventory tracking

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience
  • Knowledge of CPT and ICD9 codes
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage details, deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience with NextGen is a plus
