Position Overview 

The Program Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering platform cybersecurity management.


Primary Responsibilities 

  • Establish, maintain, and expand strong customer relationships via face-to-face meetings, informal tag-ups, and open communication
  • Support the R2C2 Cybersecurity Product Owner in managing program deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and implementing an effective system of program governance
  • Lead and manage contract performance o Ensure successful management of program, timely delivery and quality management of contract deliverables
    • Organize and lead status/working meetings, as required
    • Prepare and distribute progress reports
    • Manage risks, issues, cost, performance, and schedule
    • Create appropriate metrics and track accordingly
    • Develop corrective action plans
  • Evaluate risks/issues and provide recommendations for project improvement

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Experience as a program manager leading successful efforts of a similar nature, complexity and size (large, complex programs in a high-tech development environment with multifunction teams). 
  • Experience implementing Confluence and JIRA tools in program management and execution.
  • Required to possess an active and current Security+ Continuous Education Certification or equivalent (Refence Table 1 for equivalencies)
  • Must possess an active Top-Secret clearance based on a Special Background Investigation and be eligible for SCI and SAP access  

Education/Experience  

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field required. Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
