Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to support a high-impact DoD space operations effort based in Albuquerque, NM (Kirtland AFB), focused on securing advanced ground systems and mission-critical capabilities.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • PMP certification or DAWIA Program Management Level III (or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading DoD programs, including cost, schedule, and performance responsibility.

  • Proven experience supporting Space Systems Command (SSC) or space ground systems programs.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-contractor efforts in a high-visibility environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead overall program execution, ensuring alignment with contract objectives, scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Manage program resources, including personnel, subcontractors, and materials, to achieve performance and delivery milestones.

  • Develop, maintain, and oversee the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Gantt charts to track progress and dependencies.

  • Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with technical, cost, and schedule requirements.

  • Serve as the primary interface with Government stakeholders, providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and performance reports.

  • Drive proactive issue resolution, risk management, and continuous improvement across all program areas.

  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and security requirements, including SSC and DoD standards.
