Position Overview

New Mexico Solutions is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) team in Albuquerque, NM.

This role offers the opportunity to practice in a mission-driven, team-based environment focused on expanding access to high-quality behavioral health services for individuals and families across our community. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and integrated care coordination as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide ongoing medication monitoring and follow-up care

  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards

  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and care coordination efforts

  • Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices within the CCBHC framework

  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually

  • Productivity incentive potential: $20,000–$30,000+

Qualifications


Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of New Mexico (or ability to obtain)

  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

  • DEA license (or ability to obtain)

  • Experience in outpatient behavioral health, community mental health, or integrated care preferred

  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care

  • Experience working with diverse populations and complex clinical presentations is a plus
