Position SummaryÂ
The Quality Assurance Coordinator acts as a liaison throughout the production process to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, company policies, and the overall quality of products.Â
Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
Identify service issues within the facilityÂ
Analyze root causes of service issuesÂ
Recommend improvements or corrective actions to prevent future service issuesÂ
Maintain the current master copy of all documents including supplier data, supplier audit reports, DAPIA, ECRs, records of changes, CEF forms, and related documentationÂ
Distribute materials (DAPIA updates, supplier data, product standards, etc.) with clear explanations of changes or additionsÂ
Maintain the online DAPIA systemÂ
Initiate ECRs for proposed changes or modifications to DAPIA designs or floor plansÂ
Follow up on all document distributions to ensure changes are implemented according to drawings and specificationsÂ
Perform systematic and documented line inspections on a 15-day rotation, including CCI items, material installation, and testing equipment observationsÂ
Conduct follow-up inspections for yard work and re-testingÂ
Ensure the QA Administration – FTC Database is routinely updated and monitored for repetitive issuesÂ
Escort the IPIA during inspections throughout the plantÂ
Assist with accurate and timely completion of HUD 302, Alternate Construction, and Energy Star reportsÂ
Provide QA and DAPIA training to team members as neededÂ
Ensure the QA Administrative Training Database is updated accurately and in a timely mannerÂ
Maintain required testing certificationsÂ
Report all quality control and IPIA findings and complete CEFs as necessaryÂ
Keep the General Manager and Production Manager informed of problem areas and top recurring issuesÂ
Assist with maintaining QA information boardsÂ
Perform other duties as assignedÂ
QualificationsÂ
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience requiredÂ
Construction industry experience preferredÂ
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specificationsÂ
Proactive approach to quality assuranceÂ
Working knowledge of facility machinery, tools, and equipmentÂ
Ability to track, analyze, and report quality issuesÂ
Strong communication skills with team members at all levels of the organizationÂ
Solid understanding of construction trades, quality practices, and applicable codes and regulationsÂ
