✨ Position: Senior Accountant

REDW is seeking a Senior Accountant who brings energy, curiosity, and a drive to improve how work gets done. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day accounting operations, including financial reporting, account reconciliations, general ledger management, and tax preparation. You’ll also help identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes while maintaining strong internal controls and collaborating across the Firm.

✔️ What You’ll Do

  • Coordinating accounting functions and programs
  • Preparing financial analyses and reports
  • Preparing month-end reports and journal entries
  • Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure
  • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
  • Investigating and researching account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
  • Preparing federal, state, local, tribal, and special tax returns, assist with tax return supporting documentation preparation, prep estimated tax payments and pay online
  • Provide backup support for processing payroll, ensuring accuracy of payroll, wage/salary updates, benefit calculations and team member status changes
  • Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
  • Performing other accounting duties and supporting Finance team as required or assigned
  • Cross-train with other team members to provide backup support.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience.

What Sets You Apart

  • Ability to learn new software such as Sage Intacct, Aiwyn, Beeye, Ramp, Power BI, or similar products
  • Ability to research and assist with migration of new software
  • Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP
  • Excellent financial analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and stress management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of tasks
  • Ability to improve processes for efficiencies, while maintaining internal controls
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and encourage change
  • Ability to train and manage staff and provide coaching to team members
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision, under tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential business information
  • Quick learner, innovative thinker with critical thinking skills and an enthusiasm to learn
