Job DetailsJob Location: Albuquerque, NM 87113Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $71,406.00 - $82,118.40 SalaryJob Shift: AnyJob Category: Sportsbook Position Summary Under the direction of the GM of Casino Operations supervise, administer and coordinate all Sportsbook operations.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manages the sportsbook daily activities.  Assists the General Manager of Gaming Operations in the oversight of sports betting and ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. Performs mathematical operations quickly and accurately within the application of odds-making and line movement. Assists the General Manager of Gaming Operations with the completion of casino paperwork and correspondence. Manages, monitors, and tutors supervisory staff and ticket writers as they write and pay tickets. Assists the department director in accomplishing staff results by training Team Members; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining Team Members; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Ensures the department has all the needed supplies for day-to-day operations. Acts independently to resolve Guest/Team Member issues, exercising good fiscal and business judgment. Performs other duties as assigned.  Additional Responsibilities    Key Performance Indicators  This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success.  KPI’s will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI’s as part of the performance review process.    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities  Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Ability to manage, coordinate, direct, and assign work. Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment in handling a variety of situations. Excellent Guest service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to respond calmly when handling guests needs. Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures. Ability to assist in administering a departmental budget. Comprehensive understanding of odds-making and sports betting practices and procedures. Knowledge of Casino operations, Tribal, federal and state reporting requirements. Qualifications    Education and Experience  License/Certifications/Registrations  Must be able to obtain and maintain the required STGC Gaming License Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.                                                                        Physical Requirements/Working Conditions The following selected physical activities are required to perform the essential functions of this position Physical Requirement Description Balancing Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces. Feeling Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips. Grasping Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. Hearing Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound. Kneeling Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees. Lifting Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles. Must be able to lift 100 lbs. occasionally, 50 lbs. frequently and demonstration of this ability required. Pulling Using upper extremities to exert force to draw, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion. Pushing Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force to thrust forward, downward, or outward. Reaching Extending hand(s) and arms and leg(s) to reach, pull, carry, lift, twist and rotate in any direction. Running May involve running when necessary. Seeing The ability to perceive the nature of objects by the eye. Walking Job requirements include, in the performance of duties, walking throughout the work area, on uneven, inclined, hard and soft carpeted floor, cement structures and surfaces. Sitting Particularly for sustained periods of time. Standing Particularly for sustained periods of time. Stooping Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles. Talking Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. Trunk Bend, twist, rotate, push, pull and carry. List Working Conditions Required: Work is performed indoors and outdoors.  Outside work is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions.   Ability to work extended hours and work schedules. Work is subject to changes and extended hours may be required. Subject to hazards which may cause personal bodily harm; smoke; diseases; cuts, bruises, common cold influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels.
