Purpose of Role:Ā 

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for the receiving and shipping of orders. They process shipments, prepare deliveries, assist in inventory taking and participate in warehouse maintenance. The successful candidate will be a reliable, safety minded, team player possessing strong communication skills. They will be customer-oriented and efficient to ensure shipments are processed and shipped in a timely manner to customers.Ā 

Your Impact:Ā 

  • Handle chemical shipments following all related safety protocols. Ensure proper labels are placed on chemical shipments.Ā 
  • File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or designated route driver storage area.
  • Sort and place products on racks, shelves, and bins; possessing the ability to lift or move 50 lbs.
  • Enter delivery information into Navision.
  • Prepare packages from stock for delivery.
  • Mark materials with identifying information, weighing, counting items, and filing purchase orders.Ā 
  • Warehouse maintenance including sweeping, disposal of trash cardboard boxes, and icepacks. Maintain walk-through areas ensuring they are clean and free of obstructions.Ā 
  • Assist with cycle and annual inventory counts.Ā 
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:Ā 

  • High school diploma.
  • Two or more years of warehouse experience including the use of warehouse machinery, such as a forklift or pallet jack.Ā 
  • A safety-first mindset.Ā 
  • Strong communication skills.Ā 

Education/ Experience that will Make You Stand Out:Ā 

  • Experience shipping with top carriers such as FedEx, UPS, Old Dominion.Ā 
  • Hazmat shipping and handling.Ā 
  • Experience with quality assurance inspections.Ā 
  • Oracle experience.Ā

The Details:Ā 

  • Monday- Friday schedule.
  • Hours are 7:30 am- 4:00 pm which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
