Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Project Manager to join our growing water practice in the Western United States. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative team culture, is energized by leading multidisciplinary teams, and enjoys working across a diverse portfolio of municipal water and wastewater projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering planning, design, and construction-phase services for a variety of infrastructure projects, while building strong client relationships and mentoring emerging staff. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage municipal water and wastewater projects from planning through design and construction
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including treatment, conveyance, and water resources disciplines
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients; build and maintain long-term relationships
- Oversee scope, schedule, and budget performance to deliver successful project outcomes
- Support design efforts for:Â
- Groundwater and surface water treatment systems
- Distribution and transmission systems
- Pump stations, storage facilities, and reuse systems
- Contribute to hydrologic and hydraulic analyses supporting watershed, drainage, and flood mitigation efforts
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture
- Support business development efforts including proposal development and client engagement

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain)
- 7+ years of experience delivering water/wastewater projects
- Experience managing projects across planning, design, and/or construction phases
- Strong understanding of:Â
- Water and wastewater treatment systems
- Distribution and conveyance infrastructure
- Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, AutoDesk SSA)
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience working with state regulatory agencies and permitting processes
- Background in watershed studies, drainage design, or flood mitigation
