Swim Team Coach

We are looking to hire a part-time Swim Coach. Available hours per week can range based on availability, but will require a minimum of 1 weekend day.

 

Coaching Duties

*            Lead Age Group 

*            Designs and implements season plan for teaching and training

*            Designs and implements daily practices for assigned groups

*            Attends and engages in all scheduled practices

*            Evaluates seasonal and daily practices

*            Assists with recruitment and retention of athletes

*            Assistant coaches for other groups as assigned 

*            Implements training and teaching progressions 

*            Motivates and participates in goal setting to help athletes reach potential

*            Recommends individual and relay events for all meets for athletes

*            Schedules, attends and engages in meets as assigned

*            Participates in Parent Education 

*            Maintain daily attendance records for training groups

 

Administrative Duties

*            Execute the vision, mission, and objectives of the team

*            Communicates regularly with staff

*            Communicates with membership via phone, email, text and team website

*            Responds promptly to all swimmer/parent/coach communication

*            Other duties as assigned
