The Position:

The Customer Service Representative supports airport tenants, passengers, and visitors by providing high‑quality customer assistance throughout the terminal. Responsibilities include assisting passengers with wheelchair and airport cart transportation, answering questions about airport services and amenities, and offering guidance on tourism, ground transportation, airlines, security procedures, baggage, and general directions. This role also supports Marketing and Public Relations with special events and related logistics.  The representative maintains the airport information booth, ensuring tourism materials are well‑stocked and organized, and monitors the customer service and Limited English Proficiency (LEP) phone line to respond promptly to inquiries and service needs.

 ***This a fully on-site position!


***PLEASE NOTE - position averages 24-28hrs/wk. - we are currently hiring for the following schedule:

  • Weekend Schedule:
    Friday 1-8pm, Saturday 1-8pm, Sunday 1-8pm, Monday 11am-6pm


Responsibilities:

  • Assist airline passengers with wheelchair and cart transportation to and from gates and throughout the TSA screening process.
  • Keep all wheelchairs and carts clean and properly sanitized.
  • Provide accurate information and respond to questions from passengers and airport guests regarding airport facilities, security, TSA procedures, ground transportation, airlines, baggage, directions, and tourism.
  • Answer the customer service phone line and respond to service requests from airport tenants, employees, and the public.
  • Support the Public Relations department by assisting with logistics for special events involving the public and airport tenants.
  • Maintain the airport information booth, ensuring materials are stocked and providing guidance to visitors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of airport facilities and layout, local tourism offerings, general directions, and overall airport information. They must be physically capable of pushing wheelchairs to assist passengers as needed, including pushing up to 100 pounds frequently and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Strong customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to demonstrate patience, resourcefulness, compassion, empathy, and a friendly, professional demeanor. Effective verbal and written communication skills are also required. 


This role involves frequent walking and standing.  Candidates must be comfortable with repetitive physical movements such as bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching. The position may involve exposure to loud environments, communicable illnesses, and occasionally difficult individuals.



Minimum Qualifications: 

High school diploma or equivalent, with up to one year of experience in customer service or providing information to the public.



Salary and Compensation:

This is a part-time position with a salary of $15.00/hour.
