Direct Support Professional II (DSP II) – Without Walls (WOW) Program 

Alden, NY | $22.37/hour | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

As a DSP II, you’ll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they participate in community activities, volunteer opportunities, recreational outings, and skill-building experiences throughout Western New York. Rather than working in a traditional facility, you’ll help people connect with their community and live fuller, more independent lives.

What You’ll Do:

• Support individuals during community-based activities and outings
• Assist with volunteer opportunities, recreation, and life-skills development
• Encourage independence, confidence, and community engagement
• Provide assistance with meals, personal needs, and daily supports as needed
• Document services and individual progress
• Help create meaningful experiences that align with each person’s goals

What We’re Looking For:

• Compassionate, reliable, and positive attitude
• Valid NYS driver’s license and ability to safely transport individuals when needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Human services experience is helpful but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
